|Points to consider
||Many young, inexperienced foremen focus on simply surviving…getting through their day. But when they take time to set a goal for themselves… no matter how big or small… they are reminded today is temporary – they’re playing a bigger game.
When young leaders don’t have goals, they spend their days reacting to, and coping with whatever happens to them… they’re “victims”. But when they set goals they become “players”… they’re up to something bigger than whatever happens to them.
Here are a few quotes worth reflecting on:
· “The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.” —Bill Copeland
· “All successful people have a goal. No one can get anywhere unless he knows where he wants to go and what he wants to be or do. ” —Norman Vincent Peale
· “The tragedy of life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goals to reach.” —Benjamin E. Mays
